Fútbol with Grant Wahl (2020)
After leaving Sports Illustrated in 2020, Grant Wahl, America’s number-one soccer journalist and the host of one of the world’s most listened sporting podcasts, decided to start fresh with his own audio project.
Immediately hitting the Top 5 Sport Podcasts on iTunes after launch, I developed a name and graphical identity for the show to cut through the noise and grab attention.
“Fútbol” was chosen to call on Grant’s Spanish-language history with the game and create consistency with the name of his previous podcast.
Grant was also kind enough to host us on an episode alongside Jürgen Klopp where we discussed the process of branding the show and decisions we made:
